Whether you are looking to aid relaxation, uplift mood or help recovery from illness diffusion is one of the safest and most effective way to reap the benefits of Aromatherapy.

SUGGESTED DIFFUSION RECIPES:
To aid relaxation:
60mls of water
8 drops OBUS Relax and Uplift essential oil blend
Use on intermittent setting

TO FIGHT COUGHS AND COLDS:
60mls of water
5 drops Lavender
3 drops Eucalyptus smithii
2 drops Sweet Orange (optional)
Use on continuous or intermittent setting

HOW TO DIFFUSE
Select your essential oils based on the effect you are looking for or just because you love the aroma!
Add -up to 60ml of water to the diffuser
Add 8-10 drops in total of your essential oils
Select either intermittent or continuous diffusion setting

I recommend the intermittent setting for ambient diffusion. It ensures longer enjoyment of the essential oils. And according to all the research, intermittent diffusion is very effective for general wellbeing.

I only recommend continuous diffusion if someone is unwell – and even then it is not always necessary. If you are fighting an infection or are using diffusion a part of a routine for pain management then continuous diffusion is sometimes more effective.

TAKING CARE OF YOUR DIFFUSER:
Follow the cleaning instruction on the product leaflet.
For aesthetics, wipe any water or oil that gets dropped on the outside of the diffuser
Never over fill the reservoir
Clean the reservoir from time to time – more regularly if you use viscous oils like Vetiver, Sandalwood or Rose.
